High pressure in control of the region will lead to mostly to partly sunny skies across much of southern Wisconsin. The one exception will be closer to Lake Michigan, where more clouds will linger through the afternoon. Highs will reach the lower 50s. Skies will be mostly clear tonight with temperatures falling into the lower 30s. Tuesday will be partly sunny, and it will become breezy and milder with high temperatures near 60. Skies will become mostly cloudy Tuesday night with a chance for showers developing late.

A strong storm system will move through Wisconsin on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and continued mild with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be near 60 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms will become more numerous from late Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning along and ahead of a cold front. Highs on Thursday will reach the lower 50s before temperatures slowly fall in the afternoon behind the cold front. Scattered rain showers will linger Thursday afternoon, and may mix with snow Thursday night. Friday will be variably cloudy and cooler with a slight chance of rain showers, possibly mixed with snow early in the day. High temperatures will drop back to the middle 40s.

Cool air will move across Wisconsin for the weekend. Saturday will be variably cloudy, windy, and cool with a chance of sprinkles of flurries. Highs will reach the middle 40s. Sunday will be partly sunny, breezy, and chilly with highs near 40 degrees.
