A cold front will stall to the south of Wisconsin this afternoon, with variably cloudy skies expected. Our highs took place at or slightly after midnight early today before temperatures started to fall. Temperatures this afternoon should rebound into the middle 50s. Showers will move northward tonight, but should stay south of Wisconsin. Low temperatures tonight will fall into the upper 30s, just shy of the record for the warmest low temperature of 40 degrees set in 1936.

Thursday will be variably cloudy and mild. High temperatures will reach the lower to middle 50s. Friday will be mostly sunny and mild with high temperatures in the upper 50s.

Temperatures will remain mild for the weekend. A slow-moving storm system to our south will arrive on Saturday and will linger into Sunday. Skies be increasingly cloudy Saturday with showers developing in the afternoon, especially late. High temperatures will reach the middle 50s. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and high temperatures in the lower 50s.

Monday will be mostly cloudy and continued mild with showers ending. High temperatures will reach the middle 50s. Tuesday will be partly sunny, breezy, and milder with highs in the upper 50s. A chance for showers will arrive Tuesday night.
