A cold front will pass through Wisconsin this afternoon with variably cloudy skies and a chance for showers. Isolated rumbles of thunder are possible. Highs will reach the middle 40s. Tonight will be partly cloudy and cold with temperatures falling into the upper 20s to near 30 degrees. A chance of light snow will develop late at night. 

Chilly air will move across Wisconsin for the start of weekend. Saturday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and chilly with periods of light snow. Light accumulations up to an inch will be possible, mainly northeast of Dane County. Highs will only be near 40, and winds may gust higher than 30 MPH at times on Saturday. Sunday will be variably cloudy, breezy, and not as cool with a chance of rain showers developing late in the day. Highs will be in the middle 50s. The rain showers may mix with light snow or sleet Sunday night before ending late. 

Monday will be breezy and cooler with skies gradually becoming partly sunny. Highs will reach the middle 40s. Tuesday will be increasingly cloudy, turning breezy, and not quite as cool with showers developing late in the day. Highs will reach the upper 40s. Showers and thunderstorms are possible Tuesday night as low pressure moves through the area.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue Wednesday with breezy winds and highs reaching the lower 50s. Thursday will be variably cloudy, breezy, and cooler with a chance of showers. Highs will reach the middle 40s. Some sunshine will return Friday with temperatures returning to the upper 40s.
