A slow-moving low-pressure system will move through the Midwest today through Thursday. This afternoon will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and cooler with scattered showers. High temperatures will be in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy and breezy with scattered showers. Temperatures will fall to the lower 50s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will be in the middle 40s by morning.
As the low-pressure system approaches Wisconsin, Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and a little milder with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s.
A cold front will pass through southern Wisconsin on Wednesday night. Behind the cold front, Thursday will be mostly cloudy and a little cooler with scattered showers; high temperatures will be in the lower 60s.
High pressure will build across Wisconsin on Friday with partly sunny skies and pleasant conditions. High temperatures will reach the lower 60s.
Another cold front will drop through Wisconsin in the first part of next weekend before becoming stationary across northern Illinois as a low-pressure system develops along the front. Saturday will be partly sunny and mild with a chance of showers and thunderstorms late in the day; high temperatures will be in the middle 60s. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and breezy, also with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach the lower 60s.
The front will be south of Wisconsin on Monday and Tuesday, bringing cooler weather. It will be mostly cloudy and windy with scattered showers; an isolated thunderstorm is possible on Monday afternoon. High temperatures will reach the middle 50s on both Monday and Tuesday.
