A slow-moving low pressure system will move through the Midwest through Thursday with shower chances. As the low pressure system approaches Wisconsin this afternoon, it will be become mostly cloudy, breezy, and a little milder with scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially late in the day and into the evening. High temperatures will reach the upper 60s.
Showers and thunderstorms will come to an end later this evening, with areas of fog developing overnight. Temperatures will fall to around 50 degrees by early Thursday morning.
Low pressure will continue to head to the east on Thursday with showers and isolated thunderstorms developing, mainly in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the middle 60s. Showers and isolated thunderstorms will end Thursday evening, with some clearing possible overnight. Temperatures will be cooler, falling into the lower 40s by early Friday morning.
High pressure will build across Wisconsin on Friday with mostly sunny skies and cooler temperatures. High temperatures will be near 60 degrees.
A nearly stationary front will be draped across Wisconsin for the weekend, and an area of low pressure will develop along the front to the west of the state. Saturday will be partly sunny and mild. High temperatures will be in the middle 60s. A chance of showers and thunderstorms will develop Saturday night as the area of low pressure approaches from the west. Sunday will be variably cloudy and breezy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach the middle 60s.
The front will be south of Wisconsin on Monday and Tuesday, allowing cooler temperatures to settle across the southern part of the state. It will be mostly cloudy and windy with scattered showers; an isolated thunderstorm is possible on Monday afternoon. High temperatures will reach the middle to the upper 50s on both Monday and Tuesday.
