As the low pressure system moves from South Dakota into Wisconsin and the cold front moves through Iowa into southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois this afternoon, mild and somewhat humid air will be unstable enough to allow isolated severe thunderstorms to possibly develop, with hail and gusty winds being the main threats. The severe weather threat will end with the passage of the cold front tonight.
