High pressure will continue to influence the region tonight with mostly clear skies and temperatures falling into the lower 50s by early Monday morning.
The warm weather trend will continue this week and into the Memorial Day weekend. Monday will be mostly sunny, breezy and warm with high temperatures in the lower 80s. Monday night will become mostly cloudy with temperatures falling into the lower 60s by early Tuesday. A storm system will begin to develop to the west of Wisconsin with a chance of showers and thunderstorms developing by late Monday night or early Tuesday.
The overall weather pattern will become more active leading to daily chances for rain, although most days will also have plenty of rain-free hours as well. A weak cold front will wash out as it moves into Wisconsin on Tuesday, but it will bring variably cloudy skies, very mild and more humid weather along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s.
On Wednesday, a little stronger storm system will move through the state. It will be mostly cloudy, very mild and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s.
On Thursday, we will be between weather systems. Skies will be variably cloudy and temperatures will be warm with just a chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s.
As we head toward the Memorial Day weekend, a storm system will affect Wisconsin Friday and Saturday. Friday will be mostly cloudy, breezy, warm and more humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be near 80 degrees. Saturday as it will be mostly cloudy, breezy and mild with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s. After a cold front passes through Saturday night, some instability and moisture may linger behind the storm into Sunday. Skies will be variably cloudy and very mild with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s.
A weak area of high pressure may move in for Memorial Day. Skies will be partly sunny, and it will be warm with just a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be around 80 degrees.
