NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says there is a SLIGHT RISK of severe thunderstorms for tonight for extreme southwestern Minnesota and the western three-quarters of Iowa, and a MARGINAL RISK of severe thunderstorms for the rest of the southern third of Minnesota, the rest of Iowa, all of Illinois, and all of Wisconsin. Warm and humid air will continue across the Midwest. Although widespread thunderstorms are not anticipated, an isolated severe thunderstorm is possible from southern Minnesota through much of Wisconsin into northern Illinois, with hail and high winds being the main threats. More widespread severe thunderstorm activity is expected in western Iowa, where more instability and wind shear may lead to the threat for a few tornadoes.
