A storm system approaching from the southwest will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to southern Wisconsin. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing.  Temperatures will fall into the lower 50s by late evening; overnight temperatures will hold nearly steady in the lower 50s through early morning.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and cool with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the lower 60s.

As a weak warm front moves north of Wisconsin later on Tuesday night, the threat for showers and thunderstorms will end; some partial clearing is possible toward Wednesday morning. A cold front will develop to the west of Wisconsin and approach southern Wisconsin later Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night. On Wednesday, expect variably cloudy skies, and it will be breezy and milder with high temperatures in the lower 70s. The cold front will move through with scattered showers and thunderstorms late in the day or on Wednesday night. Behind the front, showers will end on Thursday morning, otherwise, it will be variably cloudy, breezy, and cooler with high temperatures in the middle to the upper 60s.

Friday will be variably cloudy, breezy, and cooler with a slight chance of showers in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the lower 60s.

Expect cool weather for the weekend into early next week. Skies will be variably cloudy on Saturday, and it will be breezy and chilly with high temperatures in the middle to the upper 50s. Sunday and Monday will be partly sunny and cool with high temperatures in the lower 60s.
