Skies will become mostly cloudy this afternoon as a cold front moves in and brings scattered showers along with it. Highs will be near 60, but temperatures will fall with the passage of the front. Showers will end this evening, and the rest of the overnight hours will be variably cloudy, breezy and colder with lows dropping into the mid to upper 30s.
The weather will be very chilly for the weekend. Saturday will be variably cloudy, breezy and chilly with highs in the lower 50s. As skies become partly cloudy on Saturday night, areas of frost will develop as low temperatures fall into the lower to middle 30s by early Sunday morning. Sunday will be partly sunny and not quite as chilly with highs in the upper 50s.
Monday will be partly sunny and milder with high temperatures in the middle 60s. A chance of showers will develop late Monday into Monday night and continue on Tuesday with variably cloudy skies and highs in the lower to middle 60s.
Quiet weather and a steady warming trend will settle across the region for the second half of the work week. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and seasonably cool with high temperatures in the middle 60s. Thursday will be mostly sunny and milder with high temperatures in the upper 60s to around 70.
