A cold front will move into southern Wisconsin by late tonight. Mostly clear skies in the evening will become mostly cloudy overnight. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms by early Saturday morning as lows only fall to around 60. Saturday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms ending in the morning as the cold front moves south of Wisconsin. Skies will become partly sunny in the afternoon, but high temperatures won't be quite as mild, dropping back near 70 degrees. Sunday will be mostly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the lower 70s for Mother's Day.
A slow-moving storm system will move across the Midwest next week. As the system approaches Wisconsin, it will be mostly cloudy and breezy on Monday with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms developing. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, breezy and mild with scattered showers and thunderstorms; high temperatures will be in the lower 70s.
While the main storm system will move east of Wisconsin later on Tuesday night, low pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere will keep variable cloudy skies and a chance of showers in the forecast for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. High temperatures will be near average in the middle to the upper 60s.
Saturday will be partly sunny with temperatures remaining in the mid to upper 60s and another chance of showers developing as a new system moves in over the weekend.
