With Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto signing an initiative to legalize same-sex marriages on Tuesday, another country is close to joining the growing list of countries where same-sex marriages have become legal. Peña Nieto will need congressional approval for the initiative to take effect. There are 23 countries around the world where same-sex marriages have become legal.
