A cold front will continue to move south tonight, with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm this evening. Skies will be partly cloudy, and it will be cooler and less humid as temperatures fall to the upper 50s by early Sunday morning. A chance of a shower or thunderstorm may redevelop late tonight and into Sunday morning. The remainder of Sunday will be partly sunny, and it will be cooler and less humid with high temperatures in the middle 70s. As a warm front moves toward Wisconsin on Sunday night, there will be a chance for a shower or thunderstorm late. Temperatures will fall into the 50s Sunday night.
Monday will be variably cloudy, warmer, and more humid with high temperatures in the lower 80s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected as low pressure approaches Wisconsin from the west. Shower and thunderstorm chances will continue Tuesday, along with humid conditions and warm temperatures near 80 degrees.
Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly cloudy, breezy, warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms as a slow-moving storm system moves through Wisconsin. High temperatures will reach the lower 80s Wednesday, and the middle to upper 70s Thursday.
High pressure will settle across the region Friday through next weekend with partly sunny skies expected each day. Highs will reach the lower 80s Friday through Sunday.

There is a MARGINAL RISK of severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and tonight for most of Iowa, the northern half of Illinois, and the southern quarter of Wisconsin (south of Prairie du Chien to Madison to Milwaukee line). As a cold front moves southward through Wisconsin this afternoon, isolated severe thunderstorms may develop along and ahead of the front in Iowa, southern Wisconsin, and northern Illinois, with hail and high winds the main threats. The severe weather threat will end with the passage of the cold front by early Saturday evening.
