A warm front will push northeast into Wisconsin tonight with mild and muggy conditions and scattered showers and thunderstorms. A few storms could become strong or severe with hail and gusty winds possible. Temperatures will only fall to the middle and upper 60s by early Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday, any showers will end early as the warm front continues to move north. Skies will be variably cloudy and it will be warm and humid with highs in the middle 80s. Heat index values will reach the upper 80s to the lower 90s. Showers and thunderstorms will redevelop in the afternoon as a cold front approaches the area. Showers and thunderstorms will come to an end early Wednesday evening with the passage of the cold front. It will remain mild and muggy for the night with temperatures falling into the lower 60s by early Thursday.
Thursday will be a bit cooler with variably cloudy skies and less humidity. Highs will reach the upper 70s.
High pressure will settle across the region Friday and Saturday with mostly sunny skies expected each day. Highs will reach the lower 80s Friday, and the middle 80s Saturday. On Sunday, very warm and humid air will return with partly sunny skies, and highs in the middle to upper 80s. Heat index values will reach the upper 80s to the middle 90s on Sunday. A cold front will sag to the south through Wisconsin, bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms to the southern part of the state late Sunday or Sunday night.
The cold front will continue to slowly slide through the area on Monday, leading to a continued chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the lower to middle 80s Monday, and winds will be breezy. By Tuesday, the cold front will be south of Wisconsin, but we may still see some clouds spilling into the southern part of the state. It will be less humid Tuesday, and highs will be near 80 degrees. Wednesday will be partly sunny and pleasant with highs in the 70s.

NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says there is a Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms for eastern Iowa, southeastern Minnesota, and far western Wisconsin and Illinois for this afternoon and tonight. There is a Marginal Risk for the rest of southern Wisconsin south of an Eau Claire to Milwaukee line, and all of Illinois. Thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and move through southern Wisconsin tonight along, with the main threats being high winds and possible large hail.
The Storm Prediction Center says there is a Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms for far northeastern Illinois and eastern Wisconsin for tomorrow, and a Marginal Risk for all but far western Wisconsin and the eastern two thirds of Illinois. Thunderstorms will develop along a cold front Wednesday afternoon, ending early Wednesday evening. The main threats will again be high winds and the possibility of large hail.
