NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says that there is a MARGINAL RISK of severe thunderstorms for Thursday and Thursday night for the eastern third of Iowa, the northern half of Illinois, and the southwestern quarter of Wisconsin (south of a La Crosse to Tomah to Portage to Kenosha line). A warm front will lift through the central Midwest on Thursday. Thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the warm front, with the possibility of isolated severe thunderstorms. Hail will be the main threat north of the warm front although some wind shear could lead to the possibility of high winds or an isolated tornado near or just south of the warm front.

There is a MARGINAL RISK of severe thunderstorms for Friday and Friday night for the eastern two-thirds of Minnesota, extreme northeastern Iowa, extreme northeastern Illinois, and all of Wisconsin. The warm front will move into northern Wisconsin by late Friday afternoon, with scattered thunderstorms along and ahead of it. The front will then begin dropping slowly southward as a cold front by Friday night. Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible in the vicinity of the front, with hail and high winds the main threats, although if enough wind shear is present, the threat for an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
