A front will become nearly stationary across the region for the next two days with waves of low pressure travelling along the front. Today will be variably cloudy, warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing, mainly in the afternoon. Highs will be near 80 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms will continue tonight and some may be severe with damaging winds and large hail. Temperatures will only fall to the middle and upper 60s by early Wednesday morning. On Wednesday, the front will pass through Wisconsin as a cold front with scattered showers and thunderstorms. It will be mostly cloudy, warm and humid with highs reaching the middle 80s.
Thursday should begin to dry out with variably cloudy skies and less humidity. Highs will reach the upper 70s.
High pressure will settle across the region Friday through the weekend with partly sunny skies expected each day. Highs will reach the lower 80s Friday, and the middle 80s Saturday and Sunday.
A cold front will arrive Monday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Monday will be breezy, warm and humid with highs in the middle 80s.
