High pressure will build across the Midwest for the middle of the week. Tuesday will be partly sunny and cool with high temperatures in the upper 60s to the lower 70s. Wednesday will be partly sunny and not as cool with high temperatures in the middle 70s.
Warmer and eventually more humid weather will move back into Wisconsin later in the week. On Thursday, a warm front will move toward southwestern Wisconsin. Skies will be partly sunny, and it will be breezy and warmer with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be around 80 degrees. The warm front will move through Wisconsin on Friday. Skies will be partly sunny, and it will be breezy, very warm and more humid with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the middle to the upper 80s; heat index values will be near 90 degrees.
By next weekend, the warm front will stay north of southern Wisconsin, with very warm and humid weather expected. On Saturday, skies will be partly sunny and it will be breezy with just a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s, with heat index values in the lower to the middle 90s. On Sunday, a cold front will move into northwestern Wisconsin late in the day. Skies will be partly sunny, and it will be breezy, very warm, and humid with a little better chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will remain in the upper 80s with heat index values between 90 and 95 degrees.
