An area of low pressure across the Great Lakes region will continue to push clouds across Wisconsin for much of the afternoon. It will be cooler and less humid this afternoon with highs in the lower to middle 70s. Skies will gradually become mostly clear tonight. Temperatures will be comfortable, falling into the middle to upper 50s by early Friday morning.
High pressure will settle across the region Friday and Saturday with mostly sunny skies expected each day. Highs will reach the lower to middle 80s Friday, and the middle 80s Saturday. On Sunday, very warm and humid air will return with partly sunny skies, breezy winds and highs in the upper 80s to around 90. Heat index values will be as warm as the middle 90s on Sunday.
A cold front will sag south through Wisconsin late Sunday night and Monday, bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms to the southern part of the state. Monday will be breezy, very warm and humid with highs in the middle 80s.
By Tuesday, the cold front will be south of Wisconsin, but we may still see some clouds spilling into the southern part of the state for the first part of the day. Skies should become partly sunny on Tuesday, and it will be cooler and less humid. Highs will reach the upper 70s. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and pleasant with highs in the upper 70s.
