This afternoon will be rather pleasant with mostly sunny skies and seasonably warm highs in the lower 80s. Showers and thunderstorms will move through the area late tonight through tomorrow morning ahead of a low pressure system to the west that will lift a warm front into the area. That low will then move through the Midwest Wednesday afternoon. The track of the area of low pressure will determine where the highest probability of severe weather will develop during this period.  If the storm tracks across southern Wisconsin, some storms could become severe on Wednesday with large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes.  Heavy rainfall will also be possible with any of the stronger storms. Highs on Wednesday will reach the upper 70s to the lower 80s. After the system passes, Thursday will become mostly sunny with pleasant highs in the upper 70s to around 80.

High pressure will return on Friday with mostly sunny skies. Highs will reach the lower to middle 80s.

The weekend will bring another chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly from Saturday night into Sunday. Saturday will be breezy, warm and humid ahead of the low pressure system with highs in the upper 80s and heat index values in the lower 90s. Sunday will be another breezy, warm and humid day with showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the morning. Highs will again reach the middle 80s.

After the system passes, Monday will be partly sunny and becoming less humid with highs still in the lower to middle 80s. Tuesday and Wednesday will be pleasant with plenty of sun and highs in the mid to upper 70s.
