A trough of low pressure rotating in from the north will bring clouds to southern Wisconsin tonight, along with a chance of showers. Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s by early Friday morning.
Friday will be variably cloudy and cooler with a slight chance of showers. Highs will only reach the middle 70s. Any showers will end early Friday evening with skies becoming mostly clear. Friday night will become cooler with patchy fog possible. Temperatures will fall into the middle 50s by early Saturday morning.
For the weekend, Saturday will be partly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be near 80 degrees. Sunday will be mostly cloudy, warm and more humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach the lower 80s.

A warm front will approach southern Wisconsin on Tuesday, and should push through the state on Wednesday morning. Tuesday will be mostly sunny and warm before the front arrives. High temperatures will reach the middle 80s.
Once the warm front moves to the north, some of the hottest weather of the summer may arrive for the second half of next week. Wednesday will be partly sunny, breezy, hot and humid with highs in the upper 80s, and heat index values near 90 degrees.
Thursday and Friday will be partly sunny, breezy, hot and humid with highs in the lower 90s. Heat index values will reach the upper 90s to the lower 100s.
