Thursday will be partly sunny, not quite as warm and becoming less humid with high temperatures dropping back into the lower 80s. There is a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Friday will be partly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the upper 70s.
For next weekend, Saturday will be partly sunny and pleasant with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms; high temperatures will be near 80 degrees. Sunday will be partly sunny and warm with another slight chance of showers and thunderstorms; high temperatures will be in the lower 80s.
Very warm and humid conditions will return for early next week, along with better chances of showers and thunderstorms. Monday will be variably cloudy with high temperatures in the middle to the upper 80s.

NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says that there is a MARGINAL RISK of severe thunderstorms for the southeastern half of Wisconsin (south and east of a La Crosse to Stevens Point to Iron Mountain, MI line). Very warm to hot and very humid air will continue to cover much of the Midwest. Thunderstorms may develop along and ahead of a slow-moving cold front from northern Wisconsin into Minnesota. A few of these thunderstorms may become severe, with high winds, hail, and heavy rainfall being the main threats as they move from Wisconsin and Iowa into Illinois tonight.
There is a SLIGHT RISK of severe thunderstorms for Wednesday and Wednesday night for extreme southeastern Minnesota, all of Iowa, the northern two-thirds of Illinois, and the southern half of Wisconsin (south of a Rochester, MN to Stevens Point to Green Bay line, and a MARGINAL RISK of severe thunderstorms for the rest of the southeastern quarter of Minnesota, the rest of the northern three-quarters of Illinois, and the rest of the southeastern three-quarters of Wisconsin (south of a Rice lake to eagle River line). A cold front passing through central Wisconsin to central Iowa will move through the rest of southern Wisconsin on Wednesday night. With very warm and humid air in place ahead of the front, and a weather disturbance arriving from the west, thunderstorms are expected to develop along and ahead of the cold front from eastern Iowa into western Wisconsin, moving eastward into southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. A few severe thunderstorms are possible, with high winds, hail, and heavy rainfall as the main threats, although isolated tornadoes may be possible where thunderstorm develop initially takes place.
