High pressure will remain in control of our weather through the upcoming holiday weekend and it should be a spectacular one! Today will be mostly sunny and pleasant. High temperatures will be near 80 degrees.
Tonight will be mostly clear and comfortable. Temperatures will fall to the lower 60s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the middle 50s by morning.
Sunday will be partly sunny and pleasantly warm with high temperatures in the lower 80s.
The Fourth of July Monday will be partly sunny and continued warm with high temperatures in the middle 80s.
Tuesday will be partly sunny and very warm with high temperatures in the upper 80s. Humidity levels will still be fairly low by early July standards, but it will start to become more humid by Tuesday night.
It will be partly sunny, hot and humid on Wednesday and Thursday with just a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s, and heat index values will be in the middle to the upper 90s.
A storm system will move through the Midwest on Friday, dragging a cold front through southern Wisconsin by Friday night. Skies on Friday will be variably cloudy, and it will be very warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the middle 80s, although heat index values will still be in the lower 90s.
Next weekend will be less humid and not quite as warm following the passage of the cold front. Saturday will start out mostly cloudy with any showers and thunderstorms ending early, then skies will become partly sunny. It will be a little cooler and turn less humid with high temperatures in the lower 80s. Sunday will be partly sunny and pleasantly warm with high temperatures near 80 degrees.
