An area of low pressure will track across northern Illinois this evening. Showers and thunderstorms will come to an end later tonight as low pressure heads east, and some areas of fog may develop. Temperatures will fall into the upper 60s by early Saturday morning.
Saturday will be variably cloudy and continued humid with highs reaching the lower 80s. Saturday night will be partly cloudy, mild and muggy with temperatures falling into the lower 60s by early Sunday morning. Sunday will be partly sunny and not quite as humid with highs in the lower 80s.
Monday will remain partly sunny with highs in the lower to middle 80s. Tuesday will be partly sunny and more humid with highs in the middle 80s. Heat index values will reach the middle 80 to the lower 90s. Wednesday through Friday will be variably cloudy and humid with chances of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the middle to upper 80s Wednesday through Friday. Heat index values will reach the upper 80s to the middle 90s.
