Skies will become mostly cloudy tonight, and it will be mild and muggy. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop, mainly overnight. Temperatures will fall to the lower 70s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the upper 60s by morning.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy, and it will be warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms as a cold front moves through southern Wisconsin. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s.

There will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night, mainly in the evening as the cold front passes to the south into northern Illinois. Temperatures will fall into the middle 60s by early Thursday morning. The cold front will be located in northern Illinois on Thursday with a slight chance of a shower continuing to linger into southern Wisconsin. Skies will be variably cloudy and it will be a little cooler and less humid with high temperatures in the upper 70s. Friday will be pleasant with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the middle to the upper 70s.

On Saturday, skies will become increasingly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue into Sunday, with warm and humid conditions. Skies will be variably cloudy and high temperatures will reach the lower 80s.

Monday and Tuesday will be partly sunny and warm with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach the lower 80s each day.

NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says there is a SLIGHT RISK of severe thunderstorms tonight over southwestern Minnesota, and the western half of Iowa, and a MARGINAL RISK of severe thunderstorms over the rest of Minnesota, the rest of Iowa, the northwestern quarter of Illinois, and the western third of Wisconsin (west of a Hurley to Medford to Madison to Beloit line). Warm and increasingly humid air over Iowa and Minnesota will move eastward toward Wisconsin and Illinois tonight. A cold front will move into western Minnesota and Iowa triggering thunderstorms that will move eastward toward Wisconsin and Illinois after midnight. A few thunderstorms may have high winds, hail, and heavy rainfall. The threat for severe thunderstorms will lessen a little overnight as the atmosphere cools down after sunset.

The Storm Prediction Center says there is a SLIGHT RISK of severe thunderstorms Wednesday and Wednesday night over the southern quarter of Iowa, and a MARGINAL RISK of severe thunderstorms over the rest of the southeastern two-thirds of Iowa, the northern three-quarters of Illinois, and the southern third of Wisconsin (south of a Prairie du Chien to Beaver Dam to Manitowoc line). Low pressure will pass north of Wisconsin on Wednesday, dragging a cold front through the state during the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms will arrive in western Wisconsin overnight, and move eastward on Wednesday morning along and ahead of the cold front. An isolated severe thunderstorm with high winds, hail, and heavy rainfall may be possible. A few thunderstorms may develop in the afternoon, with a very slight chance of a severe thunderstorm developing; the main threat will be high winds and hail. The severe thunderstorm threat should end with the passage of the cold front on Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night.
