A chance of showers and thunderstorms will continue into this evening before a cold front moves through southern Wisconsin and ends the chances of rain. Patchy fog may develop tonight as low temperatures fall to around 60 degrees by early Wednesday morning.
Pleasant weather will arrive behind the cold front as the calendar moves from August to September. Wednesday will be partly sunny, and Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny. Temperatures will be comfortable, and humidity levels will be low. High temperatures will be in the middle to the upper 70s.
High temperatures should be near or slightly above the 80 degree mark for the Labor Day holiday weekend. Saturday will be partly sunny and pleasantly warm with high temperatures around 80 degrees. Sunday will be partly sunny, breezy, warm, and more humid with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s. Better chances for showers and thunderstorms will arrive from Sunday night into Labor Day Monday. Monday will be variably cloudy, breezy, warm and humid with high temperatures in the lower to middle 80s.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue Tuesday and Wednesday as a low pressure system moves through the Midwest. It will remain breezy, warm and humid with highs in the lower 80s.
