Today will remain very warm and humid with showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon, especially west of Madison. Highs will reach the middle to upper 80s with heat index values in the 90s. Showers and thunderstorms will become more numerous tonight into Friday as a cold front and an area of low pressure pass through the region. Some of the storms could produce locally heavy rainfall. Highs will reach the lower to middle 80s Friday, but it will remain humid throughout the day. 

The weekend will be mainly quiet with falling humidity levels. Skies will be partly sunny on Saturday and mostly sunny on Sunday. Highs will reach the lower 80s each day.

Monday will remain mostly sunny with highs in the lower 80s. Tuesday will be partly sunny with highs in the lower 80s. Wednesday will be partly sunny and a little more humid with a slight chance of a shower or a thunderstorm. Highs will reach the middle 80s Wednesday.
