Thursday will remain hot and humid with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day, mainly northwest of Madison. Highs will reach the lower 90s with heat index values in the middle 90s to low 100s. There is a better chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday night into Friday as a cold front passes through the region. Highs will reach the middle 80s Friday with heat index values in the upper 80s to the lower 90s.
The weekend will begin with a chance of showers or a thunderstorm as a trailing area of low pressure passes south of Wisconsin. Highs will reach the upper 70s. Sunday and Monday will be partly sunny and warm with highs in the lower 80s.
