A warm front will approach Wisconsin tonight and slowly move through the state on Tuesday. Skies will become mostly cloudy tonight with a chance of showers and thunderstorms developing overnight. Patchy fog is possible, and temperatures will fall into the upper 60s by early Tuesday morning. Tuesday will be variably cloudy, very warm and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms as the warm front moves through the area. High temperatures will be in the middle 80s with heat index values in the lower to middle 90s.
We will be back to hot and humid weather for the middle part of the week. Wednesday will be partly sunny, hot and humid with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s, and heat index values will be in the upper 90s to lower 100s. Thursday will be partly sunny, hot and humid again with high temperatures in the lower 90s with heat index values in the upper 90s and lower 100s.
A cold front will move through Wisconsin on Thursday night. Scattered showers and thunderstorms could develop as early as later Thursday afternoon here in southern Wisconsin, but the best chance of showers and thunderstorms will be on Thursday night with the passage of the cold front. Any showers and thunderstorms will end early on Friday, with skies becoming partly sunny. It will still be very warm, but should begin turning a little less humid on Friday afternoon with high temperatures in the middle 80s, and heat index values reaching the upper 80s.
For the weekend, Saturday will be partly sunny and warm with high temperatures in the lower 80s. Sunday will be partly sunny, a little warmer and more humid with high temperatures in the lower 80s. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms later on Sunday afternoon or on Sunday night.
