Sunday will be partly sunny, warm and not quite as humid with highs in the lower 80s. Monday will remain partly sunny with highs in the lower to middle 80s.
Tuesday will be partly sunny, very warm and humid with highs in the middle 80s and a slight chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm. Heat index values will reach the middle 80 to the lower 90s. Wednesday will be variably cloudy, very warm and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the middle 80s with heat index values into the lower 90s. Thursday will be partly sunny, very warm and humid with another slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid 80s with heat index values in the lower 90s.
A powerful cold front will approach the area on Friday. It will still be very warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s and heat index values into the middle 90s, but showers and thunderstorms will develop late in the day or overnight along the front. Showers and thunderstorms will continue Saturday, with highs dropping back into the lower 80s and humidity falling as well. Sunday will be variably cloudy and much cooler with highs dropping into the lower 70s.
