Wednesday will be variably cloudy, warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms continuing. Highs will reach the lower 80s. Skies will become partly cloudy Wednesday night, and it will be muggy with lows in the middle 60s.
Thursday will be partly sunny, very warm and humid. Highs will be in the middle 80s with heat index values in the lower 90s.
A powerful cold front will approach the area on Friday. It will still be very warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s and heat index values into the lower and middle 90s, but showers and thunderstorms will develop late in the day or at night along the front. Showers and thunderstorms will continue into Saturday, with cooler highs in the upper 70s and falling humidity. Any lingering showers will come to an end on Sunday, with skies becoming partly sunny. Temperatures will be cooler, with highs in the middle 70s.
Monday and Tuesday will be partly sunny and pleasant with highs in the middle to upper 70s.
