A powerful cold front is slowly moving into Wisconsin this afternoon. Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms will develop as the front slides to the east. Any breaks in the clouds will allow temperatures to jump quickly to highs in the 80s. Showers and thunderstorms will continue tonight, along with muggy and mild conditions. Temperatures will fall into the upper 60s by early Saturday morning.
The cold front and a wave of low pressure will continue to influence Wisconsin into Saturday with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Saturday will remain muggy, but it will be cooler with highs reaching the middle 70s. Any showers will end Saturday night and temperatures will fall into the upper 70s. Skies will be variably cloudy on Sunday with isolated showers possible. It will be cooler and less humid, with highs reaching the lower 70s.
High pressure will build across the region into the start of the next work week. Monday will be partly sunny and pleasant with highs in the upper 70s. Tuesday will be partly sunny, breezy and warmer with highs in the lower 80s.
Wednesday will be increasingly cloudy, breezy, warm and more humid with showers and thunderstorms developing as a cold front slides in from the northwest. Highs will reach the lower 80s on Wednesday. Thursday will be variably cloudy, cooler and less humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the upper 70s. High pressure will return on Friday with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s.
