High pressure exiting the region will allow quiet weather to persist this afternoon. It will be partly sunny and a little warmer with high temperatures in the lower 80s. Winds will be a bit breezy out of the south. Skies will become mostly cloudy tonight with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing late as a cold front approaches Wisconsin. Temperatures will fall into the upper 60s by early Wednesday morning.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, mild and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be near 80 degrees. There will be a continued chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night, mainly in areas south of Madison as the cold front continues to head to the southeast. Temperatures will fall into the lower 60s by early Thursday morning.
High pressure will return on Thursday with skies becoming partly sunny. There will be less humidity and mild high temperatures in the upper 70s. Friday will be pleasant with partly sunny skies and high temperatures in the middle to the upper 70s.
On Saturday, skies will become increasingly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s. The chance of showers and thunderstorms will continue into Sunday morning. The remainder of Sunday will be partly sunny, warm and a little more humid with highs in the lower 80s.
Monday will be variably cloudy, warm, and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach the lower 80s.
