A slow-moving cold front is continuing to head to the east this afternoon. Skies will be variably cloudy, and it will be warm and very humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s to the lower 80s.
There will be a continued chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight as the cold front continues to head to the southeast. Temperatures will fall into the middle 60s by early Thursday morning.
The cold front will be located in northern Illinois on Thursday with a slight chance of a shower in the morning, mainly in areas south of Madison. Skies will be variably cloudy and it will be a little cooler and less humid with high temperatures in the upper 70s. Thursday night will become mostly clear and cooler with temperatures falling into the middle 50s by early Friday.
Friday will be pleasant with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the middle 70s. Skies will become increasingly cloudy on Saturday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue into Sunday, with warm and humid conditions. Skies will be variably cloudy and high temperatures will reach the lower 80s.
Monday and Tuesday will be partly sunny and warm with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach the lower 80s each day.
