Quiet weather will continue this afternoon with high pressure in control of the region. Skies will be partly sunny and high temperatures will climb to the lower 80s. Tonight will be partly cloudy and milder with lows in the middle 60s.
Tuesday will be partly sunny, warmer and more humid with high temperatures in the upper 80s and heat index values in the upper 80s to the middle 90s. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, mild and muggy with low temperatures in the upper 60s. Wednesday will be partly sunny, hot and humid. High temperatures will be near 90 degrees with heat index values in the middle 90s to near 100 degrees.
Thursday will remain hot and humid with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the lower 90s with heat index values in the middle 90s to low 100s. There is a better chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday night into Friday as a cold front passes through the region. Highs will reach the middle 80s Friday with heat index values in the upper 80s to the lower 90s.
The weekend looks mainly quiet and less humid. Saturday and Sunday will be partly sunny with highs near 80 degrees.
