It now appears that our weather will stay dry for the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend. Saturday will be mostly sunny and pleasantly warm with high temperatures around 80 degrees. Sunday will be partly sunny, breezy and warm with high temperatures in the lower 80s. Labor Day Monday will be partly sunny, breezy, warm, and more humid with high temperatures reaching the middle 80s.
A storm system will be developing to the west of Wisconsin for the middle of next week. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Monday night and Tuesday, otherwise, Tuesday will be partly sunny, breezy, warm and humid with high temperatures in the middle to the upper 80s. Heat index values will reach the lower 90s.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, breezy, warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms as the storm system approaches Wisconsin; high temperatures will be in the lower 80s.
The storm system may linger near Wisconsin for the end of next week. Thursday and Friday will be variably cloudy, continued warm, and humid with chances of showers and thunderstorms. The better rain chances will be on Friday. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s for both days.
