High pressure will shift to the east tonight with mostly clear skies this evening becoming partly cloudy overnight. There is a slight chance of a shower late at night well northwest of Madison. Temperatures will be milder overnight, falling to the lower 60s by early Monday morning.
A cold front will approach from the west on Monday with variably cloudy skies, warm and more humid conditions. A chance of showers and thunderstorms will develop as the front passes through Wisconsin. Highs will be near 80 degrees. The chance for a shower or thunderstorm will continue into Monday evening as the front pushes to the east/southeast. Skies should become partly cloudy late Monday night, with cooler and less humid conditions settling across the region. Temperatures will fall into the middle 50s by early Tuesday morning.
High pressure will influence the region on Tuesday with partly sunny skies and warm temperatures. Highs will be in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.
A warm front will set up in the upper Midwest through the rest of the week, and remain relatively stationary, which will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms every day Wednesday through Sunday. On Wednesday it will be breezy and very mild as the front will be farther to the north. Highs will be in the upper 70s. The front will shift a bit further south on Thursday, leading to scattered showers and thunderstorms and highs in the upper 70s.
On Friday, the front will lift back north as a low pressure system approaches. It will be breezy, very mild and more humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the middle to upper 70s.
A low pressure system will move in on Saturday, with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing. Highs will reach the middle 70s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue on Sunday, with breezy winds and highs in the lower 70s.
