Tonight will be mostly cloudy, mild, and humid with areas of fog and showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms this evening may have heavy rainfall. The threat of showers and thunderstorms will end later tonight. Temperatures will hold nearly steady in the 70s this evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the middle 60s by morning.

On Thursday, skies will be mostly cloudy early with any fog lifting. Skies will then become partly sunny, and it will be warm. High temperatures will be in the lower to the middle 80s. Thursday night will be partly cloudy, cooler and less humid with areas of fog developing overnight. Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s by early Friday morning. 

Another storm system will arrive Friday. Skies will become mostly cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms developing as a cold front approaches from the west. High temperatures will be near 80. The cold front will move through Wisconsin on Friday night, and any threat for showers should end on Saturday morning. Some clearing is possible Saturday afternoon, but it will breezy, cooler and less humid with high temperatures in the lower 70s. Sunday will be mostly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the middle 70s.

Monday will be partly sunny, breezy and mild with highs in the upper 70s. It will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms on Tuesday with cooler temperatures in the lower 70s.  Wednesday will be partly sunny and pleasant with highs in the lower 70s.

NOTES:
A FLOOD WATCH is in effect until 1 AM Thursday morning for northeastern Iowa, and most of southern Wisconsin. In Iowa, this includes the counties of ALLAMAKEE and CLAYTON. In Wisconsin this includes the counties of MONROE, JUNEAU, ADAMS, MARQUETTE, GREEN LAKE, VERNON, RICHLAND, SAUK, COLUMBIA, DODGE, CRAWFORD, IOWA, DANE, JEFFERSON, GRANT, LAFAYETTE, GREEN, and ROCK (this includes the La Crosse and Madison metropolitan areas).

A FLOOD WATCH is in effect until 4 AM Thursday morning for north-central Illinois, including the counties of WINNEBAGO and BOONE (this includes the Rockford metropolitan area).

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect until 7 AM on Thursday morning for eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois. In Iowa, this includes the counties of DELAWARE and DUBUQUE. In Illinois, this includes the counties of JO DAVIESS and STEPHENSON.

The Storm Prediction Center says there is a MARGINAL RISK of severe thunderstorms for tonight over the southeastern half of Iowa, the northern third of Illinois, and the southeastern quarter of Wisconsin (south of a Dubuque, IA to Madison to Sheboygan line). A cold front will move toward western Wisconsin a low pressure system moves along the front into Minnesota. Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible with high winds, hail, and heavy rainfall as the main threats, although a brief tornado cannot be ruled out.
