Today will be variably, breezy and much cooler with highs reaching the middle 60s. There is a slight chance of a shower this afternoon, mainly north of Dane county, as an area of low pressure pivots through Wisconsin. Tonight will be partly cloudy and cooler with temperatures falling to the middle 40s by early Tuesday. Clouds will increase Tuesday as an area of low pressure moves in from the north. Tuesday will be breezy and cool with highs in the lower 60s. A slight chance of showers will develop late Tuesday afternoon and into Tuesday night. Low pressure will continue to influence the region on Wednesday morning with mostly cloudy skies, breezy winds and any showers ending. Some clearing is possible Wednesday afternoon with highs in the middle 60s. 

High pressure will then move in for the end of the work week. Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the lower 70s.

Partly sunny skies are in the forecast for the weekend, along with mild temperatures. Highs will reach the lower 70s on Saturday and Sunday.
