Pleasant weather will continue for the rest of this week. Skies will be mostly sunny this afternoon with highs in the lower to middle 70s. Tonight will be mostly clear and cool with low temperatures around 50 degrees. Friday will be mostly sunny and continued pleasant; high temperatures will be in the middle to upper 70s.
High temperatures should be near or slightly above the 80-degree mark for the Labor Day holiday weekend. Saturday will be mostly sunny and pleasantly warm with high temperatures around 80 degrees. Sunday will be partly sunny, warm and a little more humid with highs in the lower 80s. Labor Day Monday will be partly sunny, breezy, very warm, and humid with highs reaching the middle 80s and heat index values near 90.
A storm system will be developing to the west of Wisconsin for the middle of next week. Tuesday will be variably cloudy, breezy, warm and humid with widely scattered showers and thunderstorms and highs remaining in the middle 80s. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, still breezy, warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms and highs in the lower 80s.
Any showers should end by early Thursday, with skies becoming partly sunny. It will remain warm and humid with highs in the lower 80s Thursday and Friday. Our next chance of showers and thunderstorms will move in later Friday or Friday night.
