It now appears that our weather will stay dry for the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend. Saturday will be mostly sunny and pleasantly warm with high temperatures around 80 degrees. Sunday will be partly sunny and warm with high temperatures in the lower 80s. Labor Day Monday will be partly sunny, breezy, very warm, and more humid with high temperatures reaching the middle 80s and heat index values near 90.
A storm system will be developing to the west of Wisconsin for the middle of next week. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Monday night and Tuesday, otherwise, Tuesday will be partly sunny, breezy, very warm and humid with high temperatures in the middle to upper 80s. Heat index values will reach the lower 90s.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, breezy, warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms as the storm system moves into Wisconsin; high temperatures will be in the lower to middle 80s.
The storm system will likely linger in the area on Thursday, leading to variably cloudy skies, warm and humid conditions and highs in the lower 80s. We will get a break from the showers for much of Friday, but another system will quickly move in later Friday into Saturday. Highs will be near 80 on Friday and in the upper 70s Saturday.
