A cold front will move east through the state today, ushering cooler air into Wisconsin. This afternoon will be mostly cloudy, breezy and cooler with scattered showers and temperatures falling into the upper 40s by evening. Skies will become mostly clear tonight and winds will be light, allowing for areas of frost to develop overnight, with a chance of a hard freeze north and west of Madison. Temperatures will fall into the lower to middle 30s by early Thursday. Thursday will be mostly sunny and seasonably cool with high temperatures in the middle 50s. Areas of frost are likely again on Thursday night.

The warm front will continue to move east on Saturday with increasingly cloudy skies, windy conditions, and milder temperatures in the lower 70s. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will develop late Saturday as a cold front moves across Wisconsin from the west Saturday night.
Showers will come to an end by early Sunday, and skies will be variably cloudy the rest of the day. Sunday will be quite mild again with highs near 70. Another wave of showers and possible thunderstorms will move through Sunday night along a warm front. Those should clear by early Monday, leading to another very mild day with highs in the lower 70s.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy, breezy and mild with a chance of showers and thunderstorms and highs in the upper 60s. Temperatures will cool through mid week with highs in the lower 60s Wednesday and middle to upper 50s Thursday.
