The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 5701 Raymond Road held its Thanksgiving meal for the community Thursday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Diners were offered a variety of Thanksgiving staples: mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, turkey, green beans, cranberries, salad rolls, and of course, pies for dessert.
There was no cost for the meal. Organizers expected to serve 400 people and cooked 14 turkeys for the event.
