Mostly clear skies this evening will give way to increasing cloudiness overnight as a storm system approaches Wisconsin. Temperatures will fall into the middle 20s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to lower 20s, but then should hold steady or slowly rise through the 20s by Tuesday morning.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with scattered rain and snow showers developing. High temperatures will climb to the lower 40s. Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy and breezy with rain and snow showers continuing. The precipitation may mix with freezing rain well north of Madison. Low temperatures will fall to the middle 30s in Madison, but will be colder to the north. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with any mixed precipitation changing to rain showers. High temperatures will reach the lower 40s. The rain may mix with snow Wednesday night before coming to an end.

Dry weather should return for Thanksgiving Day. Thursday will be variably cloudy with high temperatures in the middle 40s. A weak weather system will pass through Wisconsin starting later Thursday night with mostly cloudy skies and light snow showers. Light snow or flurries will continue into Friday, but may mix with light rain before ending in the afternoon. High temperatures on Friday will reach the upper 30s to near 40 degrees. There could be some minor snow accumulations on Friday morning

For the weekend, Saturday will be partly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the middle 40s. A strong storm system will affect much of the Midwest on Sunday and Monday of next week. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and windy with rain showers developing. High temperatures will reach the middle 40s. The rain will continue on Monday, but may mix with or change to snow late in the day. High temperatures on Monday will be near 40 degrees, but temperatures should hold steady or fall through the 30s in the afternoon.
