Mild weather will continue through much of the work week. This afternoon will be partly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the upper 50s. Tonight will be variably cloudy and seasonably mild with temperatures falling into the upper 30s.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of showers, mainly to the north/northeast of Dane county. High temperatures will reach the middle 50s. Skies on Wednesday will be partly sunny, and it will remain mild with highs in the middle 50s.
Late in the week a large fall storm system will develop to the west of Wisconsin. Thursday will be partly sunny and turning windy with very mild high temperatures in the lower 60s. The storm system will continue to move closer on Friday with mostly cloudy skies, and windy conditions. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop, mainly in the afternoon and at night. High temperatures will reach the upper 50s.
Colder air will plunge into Wisconsin behind the storm system on Saturday. Saturday will be mostly cloudy, windy and colder with a chance of light rain showers, possibly mixing with some flakes of snow. High temperatures will reach the lower to middle 40s in the morning, but will hold steady or fall for the remainder of the day. Sunday will be partly sunny, but chilly with high temperatures in the upper 30s.
