Mild weather will continue through the rest of this week. This afternoon will become partly sunny, and it will remain mild as high temperatures climb to the middle to upper 50s.  Tonight will be mostly clear and comfortable with overnight lows in the middle to upper 30s.  Skies on Wednesday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees.

Later in the week, a strong fall storm system will develop to the west of Wisconsin. Thursday will be partly sunny and breezy with very mild high temperatures in the middle 60s. The storm system will pass by to our north on Friday, leading to mostly cloudy skies, windy conditions and mild temperatures early in the day, with highs near 60. However, a cold front will move through during the day, bringing a chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms along with it, and dumping much colder air into the area in the afternoon.

Colder air will plunge into Wisconsin behind the cold front on Saturday. Skies will be mostly cloudy, and it will be windy and much colder with light rain showers, possibly mixing with some flakes of snow. High temperatures will reach the lower 40s in the morning, but will hold steady or slowly fall for the remainder of the day. Sunday will be partly sunny, breezy and chilly with high temperatures in the upper 30s to around 40.

Monday will be partly sunny and not quite as chilly with high temperatures in the middle 40s. Another storm system will move up from the south around mid-week. Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of rain showers and highs remaining in the middle 40s. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and cooler with scattered rain/snow showers and highs dropping back near 40.
