Tonight will be partly cloudy and very cold. Temperatures will fall to the middle single digits by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to just above zero. Wind chills will range from -5 to -15 by early Wednesday morning.

Wednesday will be partly sunny, breezy and continued very cold. High temperatures will only be near ten degrees, and wind chills will range from -5 to -15 during the day.

The coldest air of the season so far will arrive from Wednesday night into Thursday. Wednesday night will be mostly clear and bitterly cold with temperatures falling into the single digits below zero. Wind chills will range from -10 to -25 by early Thursday morning. Thursday will be mostly sunny in the morning, but skies will become mostly cloudy in the afternoon. High temperatures will only reach the middle single digits, and wind chills will range from -5 to -15 during the day.

As the cold air starts to move out, a developing winter storm will take aim on southern Wisconsin. Friday won't be quite as cold, but it will be mostly cloudy and breezy with occasional snow developing. Several inches of snow accumulation is likely Friday and Friday night. High temperatures will reach the upper teens.

The storm system will move eastward on Saturday, followed by another blast of cold arctic air on Sunday. Saturday will be mostly cloudy and windy with occasional snow gradually tapering to flurries; some additional snow accumulation is likely. High temperatures will reach the lower 20s, but temperatures will then fall into the upper teens by late afternoon. Blowing snow will be possible by Saturday evening. Sunday will be partly sunny, windy and bitterly cold with blowing snow possible. Low temperatures will be in the single digits below zero, while wind chills could be as cold as -25. High temperatures will reach the middle single digits, and wind chills will range from -5 to -15 through the day.

Monday will be mostly sunny and very cold. Low temperatures will drop to between 5 and 10 below zero, although with little wind, wind chills shouldn't be a factor. High temperatures will be in the lower teens. Tuesday will be partly sunny, breezy, and not as cold with high temperatures in the middle 20s.
