Tonight will be mostly clear and bitterly cold with temperatures falling into the teens below zero. Temperatures may rise slightly late at night. A wind chill advisory is in effect for all of southern Wisconsin until 10 AM Monday. Wind chills will range from -15 to -30 through the night, and will be as cold as -15 to -25 early Monday morning. Monday will be partly sunny and turning windy with highs reaching the teens. With the windy conditions, wind chills will remain as cold as +5 to -10 Monday afternoon.

Monday night will be partly cloudy and breezy. Temperatures will fall into the lower to middle teens in the evening, but temperatures will hold steady or rise slightly to around 20 degrees by early Tuesday morning.

Temperatures will be a little milder for the rest of the work week. Tuesday will be partly sunny, windy and not as cold with high temperatures in the lower 30s.

A weak weather system will pass through the Midwest from Wednesday into Thursday. Skies will be mostly cloudy on Wednesday with a chance of snow showers. Highs will remain in the lower 30s. Any light snow or flurries will end early on Thursday with variably cloudy skies and highs near 30 degrees.

Friday will be increasingly cloudy and breezy with a chance of snow showers developing as a wave of low pressure moves out of the west. Highs will reach the lower 30s.

The computer models are having a tough time coming into agreement about the Christmas weekend. Right now, it looks like Christmas Eve day will be variably cloudy with a chance of flurries and highs in the lower 30s. A low pressure system will pass through the Midwest on Christmas Day Sunday. This will bring mostly cloudy skies to southern Wisconsin, windy conditions and a chance of snow showers. Highs will reach the 20s.
