Any drizzle or flurries will end early today, otherwise it will be mostly cloudy and seasonably cold. Temperatures will hold steady in the middle to upper 30s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and a little colder with low temperatures in the lower 20s.

Saturday will be variably cloudy and continued seasonably cold with high temperatures in the middle to the upper 30s. Skies will become mostly cloudy Saturday night with a chance of light snow or flurries developing toward morning as a weak weather system moves through the Midwest. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with light snow and flurries possibly mixing with light rain in the afternoon. Some light snow accumulations up to 1" possible. High temperatures will again reach the middle to upper 30s.

Monday will be partly sunny, breezy and a little milder with high temperatures in the lower 40s. An area of low pressure will pass to the southeast on Tuesday with mostly cloudy skies and light rain or snow showers developing. Temperatures will be a little colder, with high temperatures reaching the upper 30s. 

A strong storm system will move through the Midwest from later Wednesday into Thursday, but the exact timing and location are somewhat uncertain at this point. Skies on Wednesday should become mostly cloudy with light snow developing in the afternoon; the snow may initially be mixed with rain. High temperatures will reach the middle 30s. Precipitation will change to all snow on Wednesday night before tapering to flurries during the day on Thursday. It will be mostly cloudy and windy as high temperatures only reach the middle 20s on Thursday, but temperatures will hold nearly steady through the day.
