Today will be variably cloudy and continued cold with high temperatures only reaching the lower 20s. Skies will remain variably cloudy tonight with lows falling to around 10 degrees.
A complex storm system will affect Wisconsin over the weekend into Monday morning. Skies on Saturday will be mostly cloudy with light snow developing in the late afternoon or evening. High temperatures will remain in the lower 20s. As the initial part of the storm moves through Wisconsin on Saturday night, winds will be breezy and several inches of snow will accumulate by Sunday morning. Snow showers will then continue on Sunday as a second wave follows quickly on the heels of the first. It will be breezy and cold with highs in the middle 20s. Snow accumulations will be 5-8" by Sunday evening.
Snow will taper to flurries before ending on Monday morning as the storm system continues to move to the east. An additional 1-2" of accumulation is possible Sunday night. Otherwise, Monday will be variably cloudy and continued cold with high temperatures in the middle to upper 20s.
A cold front will move through Wisconsin on Tuesday with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of flurries. It will turn breezy and even colder in the afternoon as high temperatures top out near 20 around midday before temperatures hold nearly steady or slowly fall through the teens in the afternoon.
Wednesday and Thursday will be breezy and very cold. Wind chills will range from -10 to -20 early in the morning, with actual air temperatures below zero, and high temperatures will only be near ten degrees in the afternoon on Wednesday, and in the lower teens on Thursday.
Friday won't be quite as cold with skies becoming mostly cloudy and snow showers developing later in the day. Highs will rise into the lower 20s. Saturday will be cloudy and breezy with scattered snow showers and highs remaining in the lower 20s.
