Mild air over the fresh snow on the ground has lead to dense fog development across southern Wisconsin. The fog will likely linger into the afternoon with light southern winds and temperatures in the middle 30s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a chance of flurries or light freezing rain as an area of low pressure and a cold front move through Wisconsin. Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s by early Tuesday morning.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy and colder behind the front. Highs will only reach the middle 20s. Colder weather will linger across Wisconsin for the rest of the work week. Thursday will be mostly cloudy, windy and cold with scattered flurries. Highs will be near 20 degrees. Friday will be partly sunny and continued cold with high temperatures near 20 once again.
For the weekend, Saturday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with a chance of snow showers. High temperatures will reach the middle 20s. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and not quite as cold with a chance of light snow or flurries. High temperatures will reach the upper 20s.
